Another dose of reality for us USMNT fans

Another dose of reality for us USMNT fans. There shouldn't be any surprise with the Coach Bradley announcement. I want to remind all of you who took my bet we'd go 0-1-2 this past World Cup and that our players don’t stack up with the top 16 other countries that moved on from the Group Stage.

Many of us dreamed of Jurgen Klinsmann. But after Coach Arena reminded us fans that USSF are penny pinching ODP driven micro-managers that there was no way we’d close the deal with Coach Klinsmann who happens to live 30 minutes from our National Training Center in Home Depot Center.

Some of you actually thought we had a shot with Arsene Wenger. Dream on. Wenger won’t coach English players, you think he’d coach Americans (Please remove your head from your ass).

Here’s the short and skinny. Our players need to stay at home to get better. Gooch and Beaz are perfect examples of why. These guys don’t have clubs that want them. I would imagine Convey, Dempsey, Wolf and hand full of others will be loaned, traded and riding pine real soon. They are American citizens without support systems and companies that care about them.

The USMNT coaching gig isn’t the best gig in the states anymore. I argue that working for the Red Bulls or AEG’s Galaxy are the best two jobs in the US soccer. Coach Yallop and Coach Arena will most likely build dynasty’s with or with out the MLS and make a nice financial profit. In closing I’d prefer more USMNT fans to ask players to return to MLS and support the players that play here.
