Cruise+Smith A-List Party for the Beckhams!
Posted July 23, 2007 Posted Under:As anticipated by all of Hollywood, tons of A-Listers made their way to the Geffen Museum of Contemporary Art for one of the biggest parties of the year thrown by Tom Cruise and Will Smith. The occasion was to celebrate the arrival of their friends, the Beckham family. The word from the inside was that every time you turned around, there was another big time actor/singer/director/athlete you could think of: Lebron, Carmello, Jamie Fox, Forrest Whitaker, Rita Wilson, Ron Howard, Common, Doug E. Fresh, Stevie Wonder, Lil’ Kim, Eva Langoria, Brooke Shields, Simon Fuller (Simon Cowell), Brian Grazer, Wesley Snipes, Bruce Willis, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Jenny McCarthy, Jim Carey, and a bunch more (too many to name).
All of the fans were treated to live music from Will Smith and Doug E. Fresh, performing on the dance floor, doing "summer time" and a few other covers. But the big music surprise of the night was when Stevie Wonder performed with Doug E. Fresh beat-boxing the beats of "Superstitious," "My Cherie Amour" and a few more. The LA Galaxy players were in attendance to welcome their new teammate to their home town. And while obviously not being the stars of the night, took over the dance floor for the latte half of the night.
